According to reports, a horrific video showing the aftermath of the Dehradun Innova crash, which claimed the lives of six teenagers, has been taken down by microblogging site X (formerly known as Twitter).

The video, which was three minutes and seventeen seconds long, showed the bodies of the victims, three of them on the road and the others inside the crashed vehicle. The victims’ body parts were shot by a man wandering around the scene of the accident covered in blood.

Meanwhile, reports stated that the user apologized for posting the sensational video in a follow-up post. He claimed that he had uploaded it for “informational purposes” and acknowledged that it was unfair to do so except for any trigger warnings or removal of sensitive parts.

Car accident in Dehradun: What happened?

Six students died and another was seriously injured when the Innova they were traveling in crashed into a truck in the early hours of Tuesday. The collision, which reduced the car to a mangled wreck, took place around 1.30 am at ONGC Chowk in Dehradun. Circle Officer (City) Neeraj Semwal said the car hit the truck from behind and six people died on the spot.

The names of the dead students were stated as Kunal Kukreja (23), Atul Agrawal (24), Rishabh Jain (24), Navya Goel (23), Kamakshi (20) and Guneet (19). All of them were from Uttarakhand’s Dehradun, except Kukreja, who hailed from Himachal Pradesh.
