CHICAGO – Three people were seriously injured in the fire that broke out on Thursday night. West Garfield Park neighbour.

According to police, the fire started at an apartment building in the 4700 block of West Ohio Street around 11:30 p.m.

The 33-year-old man suffered burns on his arms and face. He was taken to Loyola Hospital, where he was in critical condition.

An 81-year-old man and a 64-year-old woman were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation. It was stated that both of them were in serious condition.

The cause of the fire is being investigated. District Four detectives are continuing the investigation.
