World’s Biggest Butcher Dario Cecchini Returns to Singapore for Burger Pop-Up with Ye Olde Cow and More Events

There is no need to introduce Dario Cecchini, whom the New York Times calls the World’s Greatest Butcher. Netflix’s Chef’s Table legend is revealed Bottega di Carna -most Mondrian Singapore Duxton last year, and whenever he returns to town, we can always expect a series of exciting food events like this one. Pop-up with Bold x Braised at Maxwell Food Center This happened in March.

This time, Cecchini is partnering with another local F&B business, Ye Olde Cow (YOC), for a two-day-only food truck event. From noon to 2 p.m., Nov. 21 through Nov. 22, the duo will cook up 35-day dry-aged shredded beef burgers from YOC’s iconic orange food truck.

There are only two items on the menu: a double meatball combo ($15), which includes one meatball from Ye Olde Cow’s recipe and one meatball from Cecchini’s recipe. There’s also Carpaccio di Culo ($12), made with Cecchini’s choice of beef. As for drinks, Ye Olde Cow’s cold-pressed lemonade ($4) and Peroni beer on tap ($13) will be available at the pop-up.

Want to get up close and personal with the meat master? Join Cecchini the next day, November 23, for a special tartare-making workshop and boozy brunch (starting at $98 per person). From noon to 3 p.m., Cecchini will personally lead the class and teach participants how to prepare the perfect beef tartare using Viñals Soler’s premium cuts. Afterwards, enjoy a three-course brunch from Bottega di Carna, including burrata from Puglia, ribeye steak, tiramisu and more.

The final event on Cecchini’s calendar before his departure is the unveiling of Bottega di Carna’s brand new à la carte menu, featuring cuts from Viñals Soler. New additions include Carpaccio di Culo, beef tartare and Florentina T Bone Bistecca. Meanwhile, the pasta list will include two more dishes: tortellini with mortadella, prosciutto, pork loin and Parmigiano Regganio; as well as fettuccine with lobster ragu.

The Bottega di Carna x Ye Olde Cow pop-up will take place from noon to 2pm at 80 Nepal Park, Singapore 139409.
