MONUMENT, Colo. (KKTV) – Colorado State Patrol says they were called to a three-car crash in the area of ​​Highway 105 and Palmer Lake, Northern Washington, around 6:02 PM on Thursday.

The State Patrol said a truck was involved in the three-car crash. While one person was hospitalized, his condition was unknown as of 20.40.

Monument Police initially said the crash involved the railroad bridge over Highway 105: “A collision involving a semi-truck and the railroad bridge on Highway 105 between the towns of Monument and Palmer Lake closed traffic in both directions on Highway 105.”

As of 8:40 p.m., the State Patrol said the railroad bridge was not involved, but the Patrol was investigating the bridge following the crash.

Traffic was closed in both directions on Highway 105 as of 7 p.m., police said.

Police asked drivers to avoid the area and find alternative routes.
