    Kenosha crash, 5 vehicles involved; 1 serious injury

    KENOSHA, Wis. – Five vehicles were involved in a crash in Kenosha on Thursday, Nov. 14.

    The Kenosha Police Department said the incident happened around 3:21 p.m. at the intersection of Green Bay Road and 52nd Street.

    A semi-truck and trailer traveling westbound on 52nd Street failed to properly turn onto Green Bay Road and struck four vehicles stopped at a southbound red light.

    The semi continued southwestbound as it crossed all lanes of 52nd Street before stopping at a nearby Culver’s.

    One driver was seriously injured. The remaining drivers suffered minor injuries and were treated in nearby hospitals.

    The entire intersection was closed for more than two hours. All vehicles at the scene have been removed.

    Police said the investigation into the accident continues.
