Watch: Rishabh Pant makes hilarious $100 bet on Jasprit Bumrah’s Pacer dismissal

India’s star cricketers Jasprit Bumrah and Rishabh Pant switched roles as the pair bet on the fast bowler to be dismissed during a hilarious training session in Perth. In a video shared by BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India), Bumrah is seen facing Rishabh Pant in the nets. Ahead of the match, Pant hilariously reminded Bumrah of his only wicket in first-class cricket.

The wicketkeeper-batsman even got help from bowling coach Morne Morkel, who fired a delivery to the tail-ender, but Bumrah also evaded Morkel’s ball in hysterics. Pant then bowled a short delivery to Bumrah, who was pulled down the leg side by the fast bowler. However, Pant claimed his wicket saying it would go straight to the fielder, to which even Morkel agreed.

β€œJasprit Bumrah ko pel diya hai maine, net pe out kara hai 1 wicket mila hai (I dismissed Jasprit Bumrah and took 1 wicket),” Pant said in the video. To this, the fast bowler humorously said: β€œHis bowling action is illegal. I tied the draw shot, not out, but four or two. He thinks there are 7 fielders there. He shouldn’t be allowed to bowl.”
