Motorcycle passenger lost his life in SR-67 crash

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A motorcycle passenger died in a crash in Ramona on Wednesday, authorities said.

The collision occurred around 12:55 a.m. on State Route 67 northbound at Dye Road, Trooper Jasmine Lopez of the California Highway Patrol said Thursday.

A 31-year-old man was riding a 2011 Harley Davidson with a 31-year-old woman when the motorcycle crashed into the back of a 2016 Range Rover SUV driven by a 69-year-old man, injuring the driver and passenger. According to the authorities, he will be thrown out.

Identities of the deceased and suspects in the Little Italy attack have been determined

The passenger, of Chula Vista, died from his injuries, while the driver, also of Chula Vista, suffered moderate injuries. The driver of the Range Rover in Thermal, California, was not injured.

It is unknown whether drunk driving caused the accident.
