Shaboozey Releases ‘Good News’ with New Single: Stream Now

On Friday, November 15, the country breakout star released her first new single since her song’s release, “Good News.” billboard top of the charts Where I Am Is Not Where I’m Going LP. Joining forces once again with long-time collaborators Nevin Sastry and Sean Cook, Shaboozey uses her next single to explore how good news can turn even the darkest sorrows around. “I need good news/ I’m sitting here, sipping on the cold truth/ Nobody knows what I’ve been through/ I bet the devil can’t walk in my shoes,” he croons over soft acoustic guitar, wistful violin and a healthy dose of pedal steel guitar.

2024 has been a life-changing year for Shaboozey, who hails from just outside Woodbridge, Virginia. At the beginning of the year, she appeared in a couple of songs.
