CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – A Federal Express delivery truck crashed into a tree at Spring Road and South Hills Drive in Cleveland’s Old Brooklyn neighborhood on Thursday.

The accident occurred around 17:00.

The driver was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.

The cause of the accident is being investigated.

FedEx released the following statement about the accident:

“Our thoughts are with our team member at this time and we are thankful the driver was not seriously injured.” Safety is our top priority and we are cooperating with investigators. Please direct your questions to law enforcement.”
