A little girl from Saratoga County and her family are trying to make the best of a situation that terrified us all last year.

As you may remember, a 9-year-old girl suddenly disappeared while riding her bike in Moreau Lake State Park.

Trisha Sena is that little girl’s mother. He sat down with NewsChannel 13’s Mark Mulholland for the latest taping of Kelly’s Angels’ The Up Beat podcast.

Joined by her sister-in-law Jene, Trisha shared the horrific circumstances of her daughter’s abduction by a stranger and her rescue after a nerve-wracking 47 hours.

They explained the situation of the little girl, who is now 10 years old. They said he was smart, resilient and empathetic and had more good days than bad.

They discussed their work to change the laws; They’re calling for more cameras in state parks, more protection for child survivors, and a podcast of their own. They tell everything they experience.

Trisha said she always kept her daughter informed about what they were talking about.
