HPD says neighbors are living in fear as suspects in a string of sexual assault cases on W. Gulf Bank.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A woman sharing her survival story says that although it has been a while since she was raped by a man she had never seen before, it feels like it happened today.

Eyewitness News maintains its identity while continuing to live in fear. She told ABC13 that 29-year-old Denzeill Sneed broke into her home and secretly assaulted her.

Sneed is accused and arrested in multiple sexual assault incidents in the West Gulf Bank area, but he is not believed to have acted alone, according to an update from the Houston Police Department.

The victim burst into tears when she saw Sneed’s mugshot. He told Eyewitness News he was glad he was caught and hoped he received the full extent of the law.

He is one of at least five victims in the northwest Houston area. Police documented one occurring in August, three in October, and one in November, on a Friday.

Police said an investigation into Sneed determined that a second suspect was likely responsible for some of the five reported sexual assault incidents.

The other four attacks occurred at 5454 West Gulf Bank, 5300 West Gulf Bank and 5350 West Gulf Bank, HPD said.

Sneed was charged with burglary with intent to commit sexual assault in connection with the Aug. 14 incident, authorities said. It is also stated that he is the suspect in the surveillance video released by HPD on November 8.

Surveillance video shows accused rapist Sneed being caught leaving another victim’s home on Friday. His bond was set at $200,000 Thursday morning and he was charged with two counts of raping two different women.

The second unknown suspect is a black man in his 20s and is believed to be armed. Investigators say the second suspect is accused of breaking into the women’s apartments while wearing a ski mask and raping them at gunpoint.

Neighbors live in fear of the unknown as the second accused serial rapist wanders the area they call home.

“‘What’s going to happen? Is he going to try to bomb my house?’ “I’m thinking, ‘This is really scary,'” one resident said.

One victim pierced his heart, saying he lived in fear. She told ABC13 she’s glad the man accused of raping and robbing her in her home is finally behind bars.
