Jaguars’ Breakout Star Misses Second Practice

There were no changes to the Jacksonville Jaguars’ injury report compared to the previous season. first one of the weekBut there are some important patterns.

For the second straight day, the Jaguars were without two key pieces of the offense in quarterback Trevor Lawrence and Tank Bigsby. Lawrence was expected to be ruled out of the squad on Wednesday due to a left shoulder injury. Bigsby, on the other hand, is a player the Jaguars could definitely use against the Detroit Lions in Week 11.

Bigsby has been sidelined with an ankle injury for the past few weeks and left last Sunday’s game for a few minutes due to the injury. Bigsby has been the focal point of Jacksonville’s rushing attack throughout the season, but the last two weeks have featured tough sled racing.

Over the past two weeks, Bigsby has carried the ball just 10 times for 26 yards. In the two weeks before that, he had 196 yards and 44 total carries in two games. Injury was part of the reason his rushing production dropped off, but the Jaguars also saw veteran receiver Travis Etienne return to the field after injury.

In terms of limited players, the Jaguars have cornerback Tyson Campbell (shoulder), offensive lineman Ezra Cleveland (ankle), wide receiver Gabe Davis (shoulder), running back D’Ernest Johnson (hamstring), offensive lineman Blake Hance (knee) listed. ), defensive end Josh Hines-Allen (shoulder), offensive lineman Brandon Scherff (knee), defensive tackle Maason Smith (ankle), wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. (chest) and safety Daniel Thomas (hamstring).
