PUTNAM COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) – A man has been charged with multiple counts in connection with kidnapping and sexually assaulting a family member, according to grand jury indictments unsealed Thursday in Putnam County.

The name of Joshua E. Davis, whose age is not stated, is included in the 20-count indictment.

The charges include first-degree sexual assault, kidnapping, abuse of an incapacitated adult, kidnapping, second-degree sexual abuse, incest, and sexual abuse by a parent, guardian, custodian or other trusted person.

The indictment alleges that the abuse of the family member occurred between August and September 2023.
