Man dies weeks after Westminster attack | Crime and Justice

A man injured in an attack in Westminster last month has died from his injuries, police said on Thursday.

According to police, the victim, 34-year-old Jonathan George, was found critically injured in the area near 121st Street and Huron Avenue on Oct. 20. He was declared brain dead on November 7, and he later died.

According to the police, the attack took place between 19.20 and 19.35 on October 20 in an area where there were no cameras and no eyewitnesses were found. As a result, they were unable to identify any suspects and do not have any description of the person or persons responsible.

However, police said they believed the attack was an isolated incident and there was no threat to the public.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has more information is asked to contact the Westminster Police Department at 303-658-4360. Tipsters can also remain anonymous and be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000 by calling Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867).
