EAU CLAIRE, Mich. — A second person has been charged in the shooting death of a man in Eau Claire earlier this month.

According to the Berrien County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO), the shooting happened on November 2 at Main and Elm streets.

Chad Nathen Medlin, 36, of Benton Harbor was said to have been killed. A second victim was also shot but was expected to recover at last check.

Deputies say the first suspect, 47-year-old Rigoberto Gomez of Eau Claire, was arraigned days later on open murder and multiple assault charges.

In an update released Thursday, BCSO tells FOX 17 that Elizabeth Harper, 43, of Stevensville, was arraigned on charges of accessory after the fact and tampering with evidence. He is currently being held in the county jail on $25,000 cash bail.
