A portion of the hospital parking lot will be closed over the weekend so medical equipment can be delivered.

North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust, which runs Peterborough City Hospital, said car park F would be closed from 10pm GMT on Friday until 12pm on Sunday.

Visitors using the car park near the hematology and oncology unit and ambulatory care unit were advised to remove their vehicles before Friday evening.

A spokesman for the trust said the closure was for the relocation of the MRI scanner and delivery of a new unit.
