STOCKHOLM, 14 November. /TASS/. Paulina Brandberg, Minister of Gender Equality and Labor in Sweden, has a strange phobia: She is afraid of bananas, reports the Swiss newspaper Aftonbladet It was reported on Thursday.

Brandberg revealed his fear to the world a few years ago on the social network X. The phobia is so strong that special precautions must be taken before their meetings. For example, before his meeting with the Speaker of the Assembly, Andreas Norlen, an e-mail was sent stating that “there should be no traces of bananas in the room”.

Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson previously said in an interview: T.T. The news agency said the minister’s banana phobia did not affect the functioning of the government in any way. “I have nothing but respect for people with different phobias,” the 60-year-old Swedish prime minister said.

In his letter to Swedish daily newspaper Expressen, 41-year-old Brandberg said he went to a therapist for his unusual phobia.
