A woman who was thrown from a golf cart near a members-only club died two days later. marylandsaid the policeman.

The incident occurred last Saturday when officers with the Anne Arundel County Police Department received a call at approximately 7:24 p.m. in response to an injured person in the 600 block of Maid Marion Hill in Annapolis, Maryland, according to a statement from Anne Arundel. After a preliminary investigation, authorities said Mary Blasetti, 32, of Annapolis, Maryland, suffered “life-threatening injuries in an incident involving an EZ-GO golf cart.”

Police have not released the identity of the golf cart driver, but confirmed that the person who was uninjured in the incident was a 32-year-old woman from Crownsville, Maryland.

According to the Anne Arundel County Sheriff’s Office, “Ms. Blasetti was airlifted to the University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center and passed away on November 11, 2024.” “The Traffic Safety Division is actively investigating the collision.”
