MUHLENBERG CO., Ky. (WFIE) – A contractor from the Paducah and Louisville Railroad will close West Reservoir Street in Central City.

Officials say this will be done so work can be done on the railroad bridge that crosses the road next to Front Street.

Work is planned to begin on Thursday, November 14, but officials have not said when it will begin.

They expect the work to be completed on Thursday.

The detour will allow drivers to get on First Avenue, go to Center Street and then onto West Broad Street.
