Toms River man dies from injuries sustained in parkway crash

TINTON FALLS – A driver who was seriously injured in a parkway crash on Friday has died, according to authorities.

State police spokesman Jeffrey Lebron said troopers responded to a motor vehicle crash at milepost 102.2, Garden State Parkway South in Tinton Falls, at 7:18 p.m.

Lebron said the Chevrolet Colorado, operated by Frank Graziosi, 68, of Toms River, was traveling southbound on the parkway. At milepost 102.2, the Chevrolet veered off the road to the right and crashed into a tree.

According to Lebron, as a result of the accident, Graziosi suffered serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital. On Sunday, Graziosi died from his injuries.

The investigation into the accident continues.
