The Asian Pacific American Association at UMD is excited for their cultural showcase on Saturday. The theme is Asian Nightlife Under the Stars and will include a fashion show, food from local Asian restaurants, a skit and more.

About 300 people attended last year and they want even more to come this year.

Lilly Latterell is a board member of the association and said they were very excited about the event. “I really enjoy sharing my culture. “I want everyone to experience different cultures.”

He remembers joining in his youth when his current advisors Azrin Awal was a board member.

Tickets are available at the door. $12 for students, $15 for non-students and faculty.

Doors open at 4:30pm on Saturday at the Kirby Ballroom.
