Indian Army has released the official notification for the 35th Judge Advocate General (JAG) Entry Program on its official website at joinindianarmy.nic.in.

The 35th JAG Entry Program will begin in October 2025. Unmarried male and female law graduates are encouraged to apply for the posts of Short Service Officer (SSC) Officers in the JAG branch of the Indian Army.

Interested candidates can apply until 15:00 on 28 November 2024.

Educational Qualification:

• Applicants must have at least 55% aggregate marks in their LLB Degree (three years professional after graduation or five years after 10 plus)
• Candidates must have appeared for CLAT PG Exam -2024.
• Candidates must be eligible to register as lawyers with the Indian/State Bar Council. The candidate must be from a College/University recognized by the Bar Council of India.

Vacancy details:

There are a total of 8 positions available, 4 for men and 4 for women.

Age limit:

Those aged 21 to 27 as of 01 July 2025 (born before 2 July 1998 and not later than 1 July 2004, both dates inclusive).

Shortlisting date for SSB (Based on CLAT PG score): Second week of March

Training Duration: 49 weeks

Allowance during training: ₹56,100 Monthly

Post-workout ranking: Lieutenant
