HODGKINS, Ill. (WLS) — Illinois State Police said the outbound lanes of the Stevenson Expressway were closed Thursday morning.

The crash occurred in the northbound lane just before LaGrange Road around 12:14 p.m.

Police say at least two vehicles were involved in the crash and there were serious injuries.

All outbound lanes of I-55 between LaGrange Road and 1st Avenue were closed during the police investigation.
