GeorgetownCo. Deputies arrest man who opened fire on a house

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) – The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office arrested and charged a man after a shooting.

Quamae Eashaad Singleton, 18, is charged with discharging a firearm into a residence, possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine and felony breach of peace, according to spokesman Jason Lesley.

The incident took place on Wednesday evening at Nunshell Street and Mercer Boulevard.

No injuries were reported.

Upon arrival, Singleton was found at his home.

Police teams found gun bullet casings at the scene. They also noticed a single bullet hole in the exterior of a residence.

They found a .40-caliber Glock handgun and approximately four grams of crack cocaine in the bedroom.

Singleton remains in custody at the Georgetown County Detention Center, where he is awaiting service of the warrant and a bail hearing.
