Allan Lichtman, known as the “Nostradamus” of the US Presidential Elections, could not predict the results of the latest polls. Lichtman, a professor at American University, has managed to predict nine of the last ten US elections. But his prediction came true. This one will be wrong. He predicted that Kamala Harris would win this year’s election and become the 47th US President, but the former Vice President lost to Donald Trump from the Republican Party. Presidency with a magic number of 270 delegate votes.

Lichtman cited the “explosion” of disinformation after his prediction of the election results turned out to be wrong, and billionaire Elon Musk shared his thoughts on the matter during an interaction with News Nation.

Lichtman did not mince words when criticizing conservative media platforms that allegedly invested millions to promote Trump’s election campaigns. “First, disinformation. We have always encountered disinformation, but disinformation has exploded to an unprecedented degree. “You mentioned a selection of complaints, but most of those complaints were due to disinformation,” he said.

Lichtman also claimed that Donald Trump’s close friend Elon Musk used the social media platform X to portray the president-elect in a good light. Musk has publicly shown his support for Trump and has also attended some of his campaign rallies. According to Lotchman, the Tesla CEO was able to sabotage issues such as immigration, hurricane protection and the war in Ukraine by spreading misinformation through his microblogging site.

“This time we saw something brand new; billionaire Elon Musk puts his thumb on the scale. Their misinformation has reportedly been viewed billions, literally billions of times, and it’s permeating every aspect of this election,” Lichtman explained.

Lichtman spent a lot of time analyzing the country’s political landscape before making his prediction about the election results. It uses an index model known as the “Keys to the White House.” The resulting conclusion is based mainly on 13 true-false statements regarding the incumbent president’s party. If six of these turn out to be wrong, opposition is likely. to win.

“The premise of the keys is that a rational, pragmatic voter will decide whether the White House party has governed well enough to serve another four years. But if the views of the White House party are controlled by disinformation, especially by those wealthy enough to wield extraordinary influence beyond everyone else, then perhaps the key premise may need to be changed,” Lichtman said.

The master political scientist has been doing this job since 1984. He even predicted the impeachment of Donald Trump during his first term in office. His prediction proved correct twice; the first in December 2019, the next in January 2021.
