River Road’s Reese DeHart, Carolyn Koval and Ava Sharp signed letters of intent for volleyball and softball

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – The Three River Road Lady Cats signed national letters of intent to play volleyball or softball at the next level on Wednesday.

Reese DeHart signed with the Bethel University volleyball team. DeHart said the family atmosphere at River Road prepared him for college.

“This means a lot because we have a really close-knit community,” DeHart said. “Everyone does everything and everyone knows everyone. It’s just a really supportive community.

Carolyn Koval signed with Grayson Community College to play softball. He also talked about the River Road community.

“I think the people here have influenced me,” Koval said. “Coaches too. “I’m really happy to have these.”

Ava Sharp is staying in the Panhandle and signing to play softball at West Texas A&M. He spoke highly of head coach Michael Mook and his staff.

“I chose WT because the coaching staff is so good,” Sharp said. “I feel like I have a very good bond with them. They are very competitive and they love to win.”
