ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. (WNDU) – The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office said two previously missing men were found by deputies on Wednesday afternoon in St. Louis, just outside of Elkhart. He said he was found dead inside a pickup truck that he said crashed into the St. Joseph River.

Police were called to State Road 120, just west of County Road 19, around 3:45 p.m. According to them, a Dodge Ram pickup truck was heading east on State Road 120 when it left the roadway and crashed into a ditch, eventually landing in a ditch. river.

Rescue teams removed the bodies of two people from the truck. The individuals in question were identified as Theo Bean, 30, of Elkhart, and Tireno Washington, 39, of Bristol.

The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office said Bean and Washington had been missing since early Sunday morning. Family members were informed of his death.
