Commanders vs. Eagles Top All-Time Kicker Picks for Thursday Night Football

The NFC East’s top two teams face off in prime time on Thursday night, and there are many ways to bet on this matchup.

One of the most exciting ways to bet on an independent game is to score a touchdown at any time, and both of these offenses have been very strong offenses this season, led by quarterbacks Jalen Hurts and Jayden Daniels.

But the Eagles are a strong defensive group and have the fifth-fewest points in the NFL this season.

Still, oddsmakers have pegged this game’s total at 49 points, a sign that they expect plenty of offense between these two league rivals. With the Eagles’ five-game winning streak and the advancement of Jalen Hurts, I wouldn’t mind targeting a few pass catchers for gains in this matchup.

AJ Brown Always a TD (+115)

Brown found the end zone in the first three games of the 2024 season, but failed to do so in the last three games.

But this is an important matchup for the star to get back on track. Washington had the sixth-leading pass rusher in the NFL this season (17) and gave up three passes to Russell Wilson and the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 10.

Hurts has gotten a lot of looks at Brown, targeting him 41 times in six games (nearly seven touchdowns per game) and the star had five catches for 109 yards in last week’s blowout win over Dallas.

In a positive match I will gladly take him for plus money.

Terry McLaurin TD All Time (-110)

Terry McLaurin found the end zone in four contests with 66 receiving yards, 47 receiving yards and six touchdown catches through 10 games.

While that doesn’t warrant a price tag at -110, McLaurin is the most reliable player in Washington’s offense.

Running back Brian Robinson Jr. missed Week 10 due to injury, and the Commanders have some questions after McLaurin is at receiver. Scary Terry had five catches for 113 yards in Week 10 and either had a touchdown, went for over 100 yards or caught five passes in nine games.

This shows how involved he is in this crime. At -110, considering that high total, it’s worth a try to find the end zone, which could result in a penalty shot.

Jalen Suffers Every Moment TD (+105)

I can’t believe Jalen Hurts has upside money finding the end zone in Week 11 after scoring two more field goals against Dallas.

Over the last four weeks, Hurts has thrown eight goals and scored two or more goals in three of those games.

The Eagles’ quarterback scores an automatic touchdown from the one-yard line with the “Tush Push” and is trying hard himself, carrying the ball at least seven times in every game this season.
