SPRINGVILLE, Iowa (KCRG) – A teenager was hospitalized with minor injuries following a rollover crash in Linn County Wednesday afternoon.

The Linn County Sheriff’s Office said the incident happened around 2 p.m. on Springville Road near Elbow Creek Road.

First responders arrived to find a Honda Accord in the nearby area.

Authorities said the vehicle rolled several times and suffered serious damage.

The only person in the vehicle was the driver, a 17-year-old from Mount Vernon who authorities said was wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash.

The driver was referred to the courthouse because he could not maintain control.
