MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police are investigating a rollover crash that occurred near Sherman and Meinecke.

The accident, which involved multiple vehicles, occurred on Wednesday afternoon, November 13.

Police said a vehicle crashed into two vehicles while trying to escape from another vehicle that opened fire.

During the incident, police said the driver ignored a stop sign and collided with two other vehicles, one of which rolled over. This all came to light at 15:23

It was determined that the escaped vehicle was stolen. The driver fled on foot, while his passenger was arrested and taken to the hospital with non-fatal injuries.

According to police, the occupants of the other two vehicles were also taken to the hospital with non-fatal injuries.

Criminal charges will be forwarded to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.

Police have not been able to locate any shooting victims and are actively searching for the driver who caused the crash and fled.
