Strictly Come Dancing fans can’t wait for the Blackpool special to air on BBC1 on Saturday night.

And now, as the series heads to the Tower Ballroom, the show’s dances have been revealed and the remaining eight couples have to do their best to impress.

During Blackpool week, Montell Douglas and Johannes Radebe will add excitement with Salsa to Thelma Houston’s Don’t Leave Me This Way, while Sarah Hadland and Vito Coppola will deliver the Couples’ Choice routine to Kylie Minogue’s Padam Padam.

Tasha Ghouri and Aljaž Skorjanec will bring the drama to Nathan Lanier’s Paso Doble to Torn, and Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell will take on Paul Anka’s American Smooth to Jump.

Jamie Borthwick and Michelle Tsiakkas will energize the ballroom with a Jive to Las Ketchup’s Ketchup Song (Aserejé).

Pete Wicks and Jowita Przystał will add some sass with Cha Cha to Right Said Fred’s I’m Too Sexy, and Wynne Evans and Katya Jones will add some sass to Georges Bizet’s Carmen Suite No. 1: 5. He will give an enthusiastic Charleston performance in his work Les Toréadors.

Meanwhile, the guest performance for the Blackpool special is none other than the legendary Pet Shop Boys.

On Saturday night, they’ll open the show with a medley of some of their biggest hits, and they’ll definitely be joined by professional dancers for the opening number.

They will then perform their brand new single All The Young Dudes on Sunday night’s Results Show.

The highly anticipated performance by professional dancers at Blackpool’s prestigious Tower Ballroom will feature an Argentinian Tango set in a glamorous 1940s hotel.

Choreographed by Matt Flint, Leandro Palou and Maria Tsiatsiani, the routine will showcase the show’s talented professional dancers and support extra dancers.

Featuring the sultry sounds of Tango Jalousie, the performance promises to immerse the audience in a world of vintage charm and intense passion.

Comedian Chris, 47, said: ‘We used to go to Blackpool a lot when we were kids. I have many memories of the seaside, the beach and the fairgrounds. I never rode roller coasters when I was that age.

‘I think they scared me because I can see them, whereas now I can’t see them, I’m not bothered so I’ll just carry on with everything.

Memories of arcade games and the times spent there in the early 90s. I loved rock sticks and donkey rides.’

JLS star JB, 37, added: ‘I remember going to lots of different seaside towns with my Great Aunty.

‘He was always doing camps and summer trips and everywhere we went, like Skegness and Grimsby, we’d find a boulder and I’d try to convince my Great Aunt that I was allowed to eat the whole boulder. Go once!’

When asked what performing in Blackpool meant to Pete, he said: ‘This is a moment I really wanted to share with Jowita because she’s done so much for me and it means so much to her too.

A total of 99 celebrities and 52 professional dancers performed in Blackpool’s iconic ballroom; The 9 jurors graced the Tower Ballroom from behind the jury table.

There are 107 ‘tens’ awarded by Strictly judges in Blackpool.
