KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The homes of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce were broken into within days of each other last month, according to law enforcement reports.

“Obviously it’s frustrating, it’s disappointing,” Mahomes said before Wednesday’s practice.

First reported intrusions TMZ, It happened just before and on the day of the Chiefs’ ceremony 26-13 home win Like Kelce’s on Oct. 7 against the New Orleans Saints superstar girlfriend Taylor Swift watched from the stands. No injuries were reported in either case.

The day before the Monday night game, law enforcement was called to a home matching Mahomes’ address in a private gated resort-like community in northwest Cass County, just south of the city’s metro area.

Mahomes said he could not provide further details because the investigation is ongoing. He described it as “something you don’t want to happen to anyone and, of course, yourself.”

His name was not included in the sheriff’s report obtained by The Associated Press. The one-page document shows another person was called just after midnight on Oct. 6 to report an incident classified as a theft. It did not disclose any missing items.

Sheriff’s department spokesman Ronnie Lozano wrote in an email that the investigation was active and declined to answer other questions, including whether any arrests had been made. The district attorney did not immediately respond to an email seeking comment.

Around 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 7, while the Chiefs were playing the Saints at Arrowhead Stadium, a home matching Kelce’s address in the affluent suburb of Leawood, just over the state line in Kansas, was broken into. A crime report obtained by the AP from police shows that the crime was not reported until the early hours of the next morning.

The report, which does not include Kelce’s name, states that the losses included $20,000 in cash and damage to the back door. The 16,000-square-foot (1,440-square-meter) home includes a wine cellar, backyard pool and six-car garage.

“The Leawood Police Department does not comment on specific crime victims other than in cases of fatal accidents or homicides,” Police Capt. Jason Ahring said in an email.

Melody Webb, a spokeswoman for the local Johnson County prosecutor’s office, said in an email that the office had no comment.
