HUNTINGTON, W.Va.. (WSAZ) – Cabell County 911 received a report of a house fire Wednesday afternoon.

According to the 911 dispatcher, the workhouse fire call came in around 12:40 a.m. to a home in the 1000 block of Madison Avenue.

Fire crews said the building was divided into two apartments.

It was stated that the citizens got out safely and the fire was extinguished by fire crews in a short time. No one was injured.

The state fire marshal will investigate and determine the cause of the fire.
