Riola chose to receive his winnings as a one-time lump sum payment of $640,000.

Riola purchased his winning ticket at RaceTrac, located at 18999 Tamiami Trail in North Port. The retailer received a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
