Three men charged following stabbing in Islington

Detectives’ thorough and rapid investigation has led to three men being charged following a stabbing near Finsbury Park Station in Islington.

Police arrived at the scene at around 14.40 on Monday, November 11, and found a man stabbed.

Police also seized an ax and a knife at the scene.

The 20-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment by the London Ambulance Service, where his condition was assessed to be potentially life-changing. He is still being treated in hospital, but his condition is stable.

Two men and a boy were arrested shortly after the incident and have now been charged.

Mohamed Hussen Ali, 23, (21.04.01), Ali Hussein Ali, 26 (25.05.98) and a 16-year-old boy – all from Islington – for violent disorder, possession of an offensive weapon and wounding with intent. They will all appear at Highbury Magistrates’ Court this afternoon.
