Federal authorities are investigating a fatal incident that killed a worker at Auburn’s West End Arts Campus construction site on Nov. 1.

According to The CitizenOSHA began investigating contractor Fabsite Industries to determine whether there were any safety violations during the $4.7 million project at the Cayuga Museum of History and Art and Schweinfurth Center for the Arts.

The project, funded in part by the Auburn Downtown Revitalization Initiative, aims to improve accessibility with new entrances, lighting and parking.
