CHIEFLAND, Fla. (WCJB) – A Chiefland couple was arrested after bringing the child they were caring for to the hospital with bruises and fractures.

Marilyn Wolff, 26, and Dakota Lee, 23, are in the Levy County Jail on child abuse charges.

Levy County deputies say the duo brought a child to the hospital for arm pain on Tuesday, Nov. 5. Investigators added that doctors found fractures to both of the child’s wrists and that the injuries indicated abuse of the child.

Deputies say Lee was arrested Thursday after admitting to some child abuse. Wolff was arrested on Tuesday, November 12.

Both are expected to appear in court on Wednesday, November 13.
