MACCHESNEY PARK, Illinois (WIFR) – A local woman is the winner of a 1964 Chevy Impala in a nationwide contest for the 60th anniversary of Rosati’s Pizza.

CEO Jeff Rosati left the car to contest winner Angela Laymeyer at noon on November 12.

“We have dozens of family members at work and what do you do with pizza? You deliver. We’ve been delivering since 1964, so we think this is probably a pizza delivery car from 1964,” says Rosati.

The car is from a classic car dealer in Addison with the original engine.

“It’s very emotional, I lost my mom 11 months ago and Rosati’s was definitely her favorite restaurant,” Laymeyer says. “I’m just, grateful. Thankful and blessed and what a great start to the Thanksgiving holiday.
