Dancing with the Stars The 500th episode celebrated some of the most iconic moments in the series’ history.

Celebrity contestants and their pro partners re-imagined past duos’ famous performances on the Tuesday, Nov. 12 episode.

Joey Graziadei chose to imitate one of his “favourites” DWTS moments: Riker Lynch And Allison HolkerHozier’s contemporary routine from season 20 is “Work Song.”

During Carrie Ann Inaba I thought Graziadei, 29, and Johnson’s comment were missing “some rawness” Derek Hough “I disagree,” he said, before complimenting the couple on how they “really connected” during the dance.

Hough, 39, also praised Chandler Kinney after him and his partner Brandon Armstrong paid homage to one of his routines: Argentinian tango in season 16 Kellie Picker.

After noting that “comparisons are inevitable” when recreating the dances, Hough told Kinney, 24: “I even preferred that to mine.” He added that the performance, which earned him the first perfect score of the season, was “smooth as silk” and was still “intense”.

At the end of the evening Danny Amendola And Witney Carson And Dwight Howard And Daniella Karagac was at the bottom of the leaderboard. Howard, 38, and Karagach, 31, were eliminated just a week before the season 33 semifinals.

“I learned a lot here, thank you everyone,” Howard told the crowd after co-hosting. Alfonso Ribeiro announced the results.

Before the elimination, the contestants competed. DWTS‘ first-ever instant dance tour to commemorate the 500th episode. To showcase their improvisational talents and natural dancing abilities, each duo was given their own song and dance style just five minutes before taking the stage.

Kinney and Armstrong, 30, became instant dance round winners as the only couple to score a perfect 30 on their last-minute routine.
