Lions Injury Report

Jacksonville Jaguars

Mac Jones: With Trevor Lawrence likely to be sidelined again in Week 11, Mac Jones is set to make his second start of the season. Last week wasn’t a good one for the former Patriots. He completed just 63.6% of his passes for 111 yards with zero touchdowns and two interceptions. If he can’t improve this week, the Lions will easily close the gap.

Detroit Lions

Jared Goff: The Lions’ quarterback was playing at an MVP level until Week 10, when he threw five interceptions while completing just 50% of his passes. Can he rally against one of the worst defenses in the NFL on Sunday?

I’m not afraid to give up 13 points to the Detroit Lions. I explained why in this week’s issue.272 Road to Betting“:

That’s a huge difference, the biggest of the NFL season, but I’m not afraid to root for the Lions. Their team was dominant on both sides of the football all season long. They now rank sixth in the league in EPA per game and third in opponent EPA. They have no weaknesses in all three aspects of the game and are designed to take down teams like the Jaguars.

Not only does Jacksonville have the worst defense in the NFL, ranking last in opponent EPA rankings per game, but they are also terrible offensively with Mac Jones at quarterback. They averaged 3.3 yards per play against the Vikings in Week 10.

As long as the Lions don’t have a turnover problem, they will crush the Jaguars at home.

Pick: Lions -13 (-110)
