LOS ANGELES– Emmy-winning series “The Handmaid’s Tale” returns to Hulu for its sixth and final season this spring.

The series is adapted from Margaret Atwood’s classic novel of the same name and follows the struggle of Offred (Elisabeth Moss), one of the few fertile women in the Gilead dystopia, to survive against the oppressive totalitarian society.

Moss directed the first and second episodes, while David Lester directed the third episode. Nicola Daley was the cinematographer behind all three.

In addition to Moss, the cast of the sixth season includes Yvonne Strahovski, Bradley Whitford, Max Minghella, Ann Dowd, OT Fagbenle, Samira Wiley, Madeline Brewer, Amanda Brugel, Sam Jaeger, Ever Carradine and Josh Charles.
