A two-year-old boy who was pulled from a dam at Lithgow in Sydney’s central west has been declared dead.

A two-year-old boy died after being pulled from a dam on a property just outside Lithgow in NSW’s Central West.

A crime scene was set up by police on Portland property following the incident on Tuesday afternoon.

The child was reportedly in a critical condition when he was found and was taken to Bathurst Hospital.

Police are currently investigating the situation and further updates will follow.

NSW Police confirmed to The Daily Telegraph that the child had died.
