In the remand prayer, IO said that Shambhu was involved in the murder. Therefore, he must be arrested to find out vital clues and the whereabouts of other fugitives responsible for the crimes.

The defense applied for bail and annulment of the detention order, on the grounds that his client was only involved in the case for the purpose of harassing himself. Moreover, they said that their client is now 77 years old and is suffering from different ailments, including old age complications.
