NDOT repairs hanging power lines to reopen lanes on l-11 in Lake Mead

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Nevada State Police have reopened the two rightmost lanes on l-11 after dangling power lines caused the overpass to close under it.

According to NSP, cables under the bridge have impacted northbound travel lanes on l-11 just south of Lake Mead.

“Repairs are ongoing to ensure safety and restore traffic flow as quickly as possible,” the Nevada Department of Transportation said.

The lanes are expected to be closed until further notice.

This is an evolving story.
