GLENDALE, AZ (AZfamily) — Glendale police detectives are working to determine what led to a man being found dead in an area near several homes early Monday.

Details are limited, but officers told Arizona Family the body was found nearby. 57th and Peoria streets around 7:30 a.m. after someone reported a man lying in a grassy area.

Police arrived and determined the man was dead. Homicide detectives arrived at the scene a short time later, but details about the man, including his name, have not yet been released.

Detectives are currently working to determine the man’s cause of death. It is unclear at this time whether police are searching for the suspect.
