Poor Caleb Williams had to back Matt Eberflus after a Bears loss

It’s hard to thrive in a bad situation. Nowhere is this more evident than in Chicago, where things continue to get worse with each passing week. For Chicago Bears Quarterback Caleb Williams didn’t have any talent to succeed in a Bears uniform, and his fans full panic mode.

Of course, the Bears had hope early on, but it’s all over now. Chicago was 4-2 before the Week 7 bye and they are 0-3 since then. Head coach Matt Eberflus and co. like that is being exploded and it looks like there is cotton thread work. And unfortunately for their rookie point guard, Williams is having to answer for the coaching staff’s mistakes.

In the post-match interview, Williams was asked if she still had confidence in her coach. “Do I trust my head coach? Yes, I trust my coach” Williams replied. What would he say, no?

The QB continued by emphasizing that the Bears had the talent to get the job done but couldn’t execute it properly. What he doesn’t realize is that practice begins with the position the coaches place the players in.

Eberflus failed to achieve that in his three years as head coach, going 14-29 with the team. They finished 3-14 that first year and improved to 7-10 last season. The trend has shown that the Bears can improve even more (currently 4-5), but reaching the playoff race seems unlikely.

Chicago’s offensive coordinator Shane Waldron could be out of a job soon. The Bears offense has struggled for much of the season despite having strong playmakers in Williams, DJ Moore, Keenan Allen, Rome Odunze and Cole Kmet.

All indications are that the Bears could make that decision as early as next week, before their game against the Packers. in chicago post-match press conference After the loss to the Patriots, Eberflus was asked what changes he could make to the Bears’ offense, including a quarterback change. His answer was that “everything will be taken care of.”

Frankly, the Bears shouldn’t have hired Waldron in the first place. Before that, he spent three years in Seattle and the result was not good.

It would certainly be refreshing to see what a new player could do for Williams and his offense. But the real question is when we will see this happen. Eberflus said the Bears would likely make some changes within 24 hours of their loss to the Patriots, but yet here we are Monday afternoon with no news.
