A New Jersey mother of three was found shot to death in a park Saturday morning

An early morning jogger discovered a woman shot to death in a New Jersey park Saturday morning, according to a statement from the Cumberland County District Attorney’s Office.

On Saturday, just after 5 a.m., Millville Police Department members responded to Waltman City Park for a report of an unconscious woman lying on the ground with a head injury.

The victim, later identified as Teaoshia Still, 36, a mother of three from Millville, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The death is currently under investigation by the Millville Police Department and the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office.

Police said no arrests have been made at this time and no suspects are identified as the investigation is ongoing.

Family members told NJ.com Still was a cheerful and friendly woman and they are not sure who would want to kill her.

“She was sweet, friendly and very energetic,” said a relative who asked that her name not be published. “I always showed love to the people who showed love to him. . . I just don’t understand. It’s crazy that someone would do this to him and leave him in the park,” the relative said.
