MORRISTOWN, Tenn. (WVLT) – A grocery chain with more than 1,300 stores nationwide and dozens in Tennessee has announced plans to expand into Morristown.

Publix said it signed a lease for a new store to be called “Publix at Belwood Farms.”

The store will be located at the southeast corner of Andrew Johnson Highway and Bellwood Road in Morristown.

Company officials said that the store will have an area of ​​approximately 46,000 square meters when completed.

The grand opening date has not been announced.
