2025 Australia tour kicks off in Sydney

Keep your asses tight; It’s going to be a bumpy, rib-breaking journey! The West End’s longest-running comedy, Game Gone Wrong is showing no signs of slowing down and is set to celebrate its 10th anniversary with a new Australian tour. Sydney Opera House In the winter of 2025.

This is a classic detective story; At least that’s what the Cornley Dramatic Society is trying to stage. A murder has occurred at a country estate and an investigator is trying to find the culprit. But when these accident-prone thespians tackle this 1920s murder mystery, everything that can go wrong will. Actors and crew fight against all odds to make it to the final curtain call, with hilarious results (and lively stunts to rival that old one). Police Academy Their stunt show on the Gold Coast Warner Bros. Movie World – who remembers this!?). We digress; Who killed Charles Haversham? You’ll have to see it with your own eyes.

Audiences old and new will be rolling in the aisles when this Tony and Olivier award-winning fan favorite returns Down Under. Premiering in 2012 with just four paying customers, Game Gone Wrong it has now been seen by more than four million people and has been performed on every continent except Antarctica (where producers feared a cold reception).

“Flawlessly crafted and internationally acclaimed, The Play That Goes Wrong is a beacon of top comedy. “This type of theater is incredibly difficult to pull off, but Mischief makes it look effortless by creating a production that is loved around the world.” says Ebony Bott, Head of Contemporary Performance at the Sydney Opera House.

This supremely disastrous play was originally created by Mischief Worldwide Ltd (which started as an improvisational comedy troupe in London by a group of acting graduates) and was co-written by Mischief company members Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer and Henry Shields, and directed by Mark. Bell. The Australian season will be directed by co-director Amy Milburn and produced by GMG Productions and Stoddart Entertainment Group.

If you need your fix of theatrical comedy nonsense sooner than later, don’t forget its Australian premiere. Elf: The Musical is coming to the Opera House this Christmas. Meanwhile, the House offers an eclectic range of contemporary performances. Special season for the 20th anniversary of the cult cabaret La Click Spicing things up right now (until November 17); followed by an epic live adventure Dungeons and Dragons Twenty Sided TavernFrom December 15th, where no two shows are the same; then magical geniuses Penn and Teller Celebrating its 50th anniversary in Parliament (January 11–18); and the dark and funny one man show Being afraid as if something very bad will happen is coming to the city in the new year as part of Exciting new program for Sydney Mardi Gras.

in 2025 Game Gone Wrong will appear here Sydney Opera House Between 19 June and 3 August; then head up HOTA on Gold Coast Between 6–10 August; ToowoombaEmpire Theatre, 12-15 August; at the City Theater newcastle Between 19–31 August; and finally Melbourne Athenaeum Theater Between 3-21 September.
