New York Jets Star Says Team Playing Like Trash Causes Lack of Energy

New York Jets can effectively Kiss your seasons goodbye After falling to a 3-7 record following Sunday’s loss. Arizona Cardinals.

There was some hope that the big win on Thursday night last week would re-energize the team for a miraculous run into the play-offs. They failed again and were too much to overcome for victory.

Jets star player Garrett Wilson did not mince words about the team’s poor performance this season talking to the media after the game.

“I don’t think we’ve gone in the wrong direction in our meetings and training this week. I just think at the end of the day it’s all about Sunday,” a somber Wilson said. “I say that all the time. But when you go out and play bad, you have to, I don’t know, maybe fake it a little bit to make it look real. But the energy isn’t there because we play like garbage. So, you know, that’s how I see it.”

Harsh words, and some of them may just be the feeling of abandoning a game, but they are not unwarranted. New York’s roster is too good for the team to consistently play at such a poor level.

a crime Wilson and Davante Adams, not to mention the future Hall of Famer under center, shouldn’t have that much trouble moving the ball through the air.

Aaron Rodgers was 22-of-35 for 151 yards and no scores. Leaving with this production in 35 passes is unacceptable. The longest pass play of the afternoon lasted just 15 yards. Only one transit of at least 10 airspaces was completed.

That would be bad against any team, but it’s especially disappointing against the Cardinals, who rank near the bottom of the league against pass rushers on the day.

Of all the Jets players, Wilson should have held his head high after starting his game at a time when the team needed him badly. He came into this game on a hot streak and was still at least the team’s leading receiver.

It’s puzzling that despite all this talent, the offense continues to fail.

But one thing is for sure. If Rodgers decides to returnHe needs to bite the bullet and move on from his friend at offensive coordinator, Nathaniel Hackett.

This seems like the only option New York has if it wants to finally succeed. It would be hard to do add many more capabilities The offense Rodgers could use.
